The Chester Coventry Deluxe series lathes are geared head lathes ideally suited to education environments or light duty machine maintenance workshops. The machines have hardened and ground bedways, a large spindle bore, D1-4 camlock spindle mount and precision taper roller bearings. The machines have a double vee bedways for precision and a removable swarf tray for convenience. They are also fitted with key safety features, which include interlocked chuck guard, emergency foot pedal brake and lockable isolator switch. The machines is supplied with a comprehensive range of standard accessories which include 2 axis Digital Readout system, 3 and 4 jaw chucks, fixed and travelling steadies, coolant system and a work lamp. All machines are certified to CE standards. The Coventry Deluxe range have been supplied to Design and Technology Workshops the world over for more than 20 years. These machines represent good value for money and give students a feel of industry and manufacturing. The machines have hardened and ground bedways, precision tapered roller bearings and a double vee bedway. The machine has a standard D1-4 camlock spindle with a 38mm bore. The lathes are supplied with 2 axis DRO, 3 and 4 jaw chucks and are available with three bed lengths 500mm, 750mm, 1000mm and with single or three phase power supply.
